Nightlife Experts Will Gather in Ibiza in October
Ibiza will host a meeting of international authorities on nightlife
We all know that Ibiza becomes a nightclub paradise in the summer. But when the party animals leave the island it also plays host to international specialists on the subject.
The 2nd International Nightlife Congress will take place in Playa d'en Bossa's Hard Rock Hotel in October 7th and 8th . The aim is to gather the industry's professionals, to discuss the issues that plague their line of business, and to try and find a solution. Among those issues are, noise pollution, security, taxes and alcohol abuse.
The latter is an especially sensitive subject for Ibiza which receives many visitors attracted by the low alcohol prices, this is known as 'drunken tourism'. Measures have already been taken to tackle these problems, including the presence of British Police in the island, and the booze bans on Ryanair flights.
In addition to the discussions the 1st Golden Moon Awards will also be given away on October 8th, rewarding the best clubs in the world. We have no doubt that Ibiza will feature strongly in them!
