Cala Codolar Beach, South-East Ibiza

A quiet beach in the south west of the island that offers lovely views

featured in Beaches Updated

Only a stone's throw from Cala Llentia is the small bay of Cala Codolar. The perfect beach if you're looking to escape the crowds for a bit.

Enjoyed by locals, it's not yet very built up, and although it's not entirely covered in the silky white sand we're used to in Ibiza, it does have some great rock scrambling round the edges.

There is a snack shack which gives the beach a lively atmosphere.

There is no lifeguard on this beach and although mostly sheltered it can still be a bit wind affected so be careful not to swim out too far.

Water Safety & Clarity

The turquoise blue waters are incredibly inviting, you only have to pass a small barrier of rocks and seaweed to get to them and there are a few clear spots you can nip through.

Beach Quality

Some soft white sand but also quite a few rocky areas.

Watersports Nearby

Explore around the headland and see what you can find amongst the rocks, although good footwear is a must here. Flip flops could make this a precarious journey. As there are rocky outcrops on either side of this bay it makes for perfect snorkelling territory.
