Ibiza gets the X Factor (again) in 2018
Louis Tomlinson on the island for the Judge's Houses round
One Direction member Louis Tomlinson has chosen Ibiza for this year's boot camp section of the popular UK talent show The X Factor. Having gained fame thanks to the TV show himself, Tomlinson became a judge in the 2018 edition after a short stint as Simon Cowell's guest judge in 2015.
The X Factor UK has reached one of its most exciting rounds, the Judges' Houses. Celeb judges Louis Tomlinson, Simon Cowell, Robbie Williams and Ayda Field have jetted off their contestants abroad to decide who will stay on for the live shows.
This year, Louis Tomlison is mentoring the boys and has, reportedly, brought American musician Nile Rodgers and One Direction's bandmate Liam Payne to the White Isle to help him. This is not the first time that The X Factor UK has been filmed in Ibiza as Louis Walsh brought his contestants here in 2016.
A well-known party animal, Tomlinson has been spotted hitting the island's legendary nightclubs while taking a break from shooting. He visited Ushuaïa, in Playa d'en Bossa, for David Guetta's closing BIG party on Monday night before heading out to the San Antonio bars the following day.
ITV will broadcast the Judges' Houses round next week.
