What's the weather like in Ibiza in November?
The days may feel a little shorter now the clocks have changed back to CET (Central European Time) - sunrise gets closer to 08:00 and sunsets will be as early as 17:30 by the end of the month.
The average day temperature is 16°C and often reaches 20°C at lunchtime, so certainly a comfortable climate for the time of year, and it's still possible to enjoy eating al fresco style during the day. While the temperatures continue to drop through the month, the sun still continues to shine throughout November. You will still see sunbathers and families on the beaches in the middle of the day, but sea temperatures are now around 20°C which is a little too cool for most but you will still see some people braving it!
There are also usually some rainy days forecast in November, so be sure to pack a rain jacket, too, but the rain comes in showers and is unlikely to last for long.

Fiesta de San Carlos - on 4th November the charming rural village of San Carlos commemorates its patron saint, offering a multitude of wonderful festivities throughout the month. Saint Charles is honoured with a solemn mass and traditional parade, with the following weekends presenting children's activities, live music, workshops and lots of food and drinks in the north-eastern town.
Fiesta de Santa Gertrudis - 16 November also sees the celebration of the Patron Saint's Day in the traditional countryside village of Santa Gertrudis in the middle of the island. It’s a lovely town to enjoy the festivities and settle into one of it’s many cafés and restaurants for a spot of lunch.
Hippy markets in November
Many of the island’s iconic markets continue to thrive in November, with Ibiza remaining an excellent choice for a spot of retail therapy at this time of year. The world-famous Las Dalias keeps going throughout the winter, brightening up Saturdays with a colourful and eclectic market in San Carlos. Deeper in the countryside lies Forada market which is a popular local event, though a little off the beaten track for tourists, found on the road that connects San Antonio and San Rafael. Alternatively, Sant Joan artisan market is the place to be for Ibizan produce and artisanal stalls, where visitors can enjoy a lively atmosphere.
Wine and gastronomy in November
November is a lovely time of year to visit the beautiful Ibizan countryside and a tour and tasting at one of the award-winning vineyards dotted around the rural inland areas of the island is a wonderful activity. At this time of year the temperatures are still pleasant enough to wander the estates discovering the vines and winemaking practices, then settle into a wine cellar to trial some local produce. It’s a great opportunity to learn more about Ibiza’s history of wine production and a wonderful activity for groups or as a couple. The island's vineyards are still open and functioning at this time of year, but visits for the public are often limited to specific days and times, so we recommend booking in advance.

Don’t put your best dance moves away just yet, as there are still plenty of parties to enjoy in November. A handful of Ibiza’s prestigious nightclubs and bars remain open during the winter months. Also popular with locals and visitors alike is the square of Plaza del Parque, which is nestled on the edge of Ibiza’s Old Town.
