La Gaia Restaurant
Sophisticated "Japeruvian" cuisine in Ibiza Town
Located inside Ibiza Gran Hotel, this restaurant serves their own take on Nikkei cuisine, a fusion of flavours from Japan and Peru in a very sophisticated space.
This highly personal and creative menu draws inspiration from the latest gastronomic trends. Completing the experience is a tempting menu of signature cocktails, a permanent exhibition of photographs retracing Ibiza’s hippy spirit in the 1970s and a striking work by the Danish artist Katrin Kirk, entitled ‘Life’. All this combines to create a unique atmosphere, perfect for enjoying the glamour of the Ibizan night.
You can start your evening with some of their fusion cocktails, such as a Sake Mate, continue with King prawns ceviche with passion fruit & miso or Iberian pork rib with yakiniku sauce & corn crocant and finish with their Haba tonka ice cream with popped quinoa.
There is also a long list of creative sushi, and it is all available to take away. Open every day from 18:00 to 02:00.

- "Superb service, extremely careful on details. Lots of imagination and innovation to create a unique experience. I am a fanatic of Peruvian and Japanese food. This place combines both in a balanced and tasty philosophy. I will come back definitely." - Trip Advisor
- "Really amazed with the food. Quality and taste is so good. If you like Nikkei cuisine you really must try it. Really nice Japanese food with Peruvian flavours. We went on Sunday and the restaurant was quite crowded but in a relaxing atmosphere with Dj live music. The staff was so professional and gentle. They explain you all the dishes in detail. The desserts were so nice as well, however the spicy bombons are really for spicy flavours lovers (specially the wasabi one). I will definitely come back."- Trip Advisor
- "They invented this new Japeruvian cuisine which is a kind of Nikkei, fusion of gastronomy Japanese and Peruvian and it's simply amazing! We love it! The flavours, the presentation of the dishes are beautiful, the ceviches are lovely as well as the tiraditos and the anticuchos! I fell in love with all of that, and the variety of sushi is also stunning. I recommend everybody to try it! It's one of the MUSTs you have this summer in Ibiza. And one more thing, the service is super kind!" - Trip Advisor
